Halloween
My Halloween was far less eventful than one might imagine. Due to a combination of the first rain in five months, standard LA traffic, and it being a holiday, it took me over two hours to drive the seventeen miles from my work to my apartment. The plan was to go to West Hollywood for the annual Halloween parade but the rain canceled that idea. The group I was to go with dispersed among several Halloween parties to which they were individually invited. When the music stopped I ended up with Dan at a party in Glendale dressed as a Hooters waitress.
This is the part where I should tell you about all the girls I hit on who were in revealing costumes or about some amusing mix ups you'd expect to see on a preview for a new show on the WB. Unfortunately that just didn't happen. Between the rain, traffic, and indecision we arrived at a Halloween party in Glendale at about 11:30 at night. Everyone was already trashed and it seemed to be nothing but couples. The only amusing thing that happened was when Dan tried to tell me how I should start putting the moves on someone at the party until he found out the Princess Leia he was flirting with was named Greg.
Looking at all the couples in matching theme costumes was a little
depressing. Of course it wasn't nearly as depressing as a blabbering
drunk guy in a Hooters waitress outfit, but depressing none the less.
I'm not looking forward to the pictures, and before you ask, no I
won't post them.
