Back on Track
I've recently spent quite a bit of time reflecting on my life. If I were older, I believe it would be referred to as a mid-life crisis. Unfortunately due to my age I'm not afforded the luxury of a catchy phrase that requests sympathy for selfish behavior. Instead I am forced to take the lesser label of the twenty something equivalent, an asshole.
I've come to the realization that I've become excessively lazy in every facet of my life. This is including but not limited to the writing of this site. Not just writing this site, but forcing myself into situations to make the site, and my life, interesting. In fact as one fan has recently pointed out I haven't even hit on a girl since the 4th of July. That was over three months ago. I'm now reminded why I started this site in the first place.
Just as a fat chick in weight watchers counts each time she does an extra push up or breaks down and has a Twinkie, I too use this journal to chronicle my progress. A few months ago I was going to bars and hitting on girls regularly. Now I spend most nights watching scrambled porn only pausing long enough to order a calorie loaded meal with less nutritional content than Pantene. It's time to get back on the horse, or cow, or whatever farm animal appropriately represents my failing sex life.
In an effort to actually meet members of the opposite sex I will attempt to do something that will get me out of the house once a day. Working out, going to a bar, or handing out my number on Hollywood Blvd., some effort will be made every day. I've been inundated with e-mails from sexless college co-eds and gorgeous flirting friendsters that all want to read more updates. Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things and at the least have a little more to write about than how my dinner was ruined by a transvestite and a few police officers.
I'm betting that sounds really bad for people who are reading my site for the first time.Related articles:
