A Sick Girl at Barney's
For some reason things always tend to go really well or really bad for me but for some reason today that's not the case. There have been a number of times I was more than a little confused by Jeanine and today would be no exception. We went to Barney's Beanery to play some pool, fuse ball, and basically just hang out and chill. I met her there fairly early, around 9ish. Jeanine didn't seem to be doing so well, she said she was feeling a little sick and it was clear that she had a bit of a cold. Maybe it was just her being sick but she seemed to be completely miserable. I got a New Castle and she got a Tokyo Iced Tea. I've never had one before so I asked her if I could have a taste. She said she normally would but she was sick and didn't want to get me sick.
We played two games of pool and sat and talked for a bit. Around elevenish she said she was going to go home because she felt sick. Seeing as she didn't let me take a sip from her drink and made a hundred references to being sick I was pretty sure she wasn't looking forward to a good night kiss so I just said I'd call her tomorrow and I hoped she'd have a good nights sleep. Reassuringly she told me that if she feels better tomorrow we should go do something.
I think things went well but if I was any kind of judge of how things are going with a girl I probably wouldn't have created this site. At this point I think Jeanine's really cool but I wouldn't be surprised if she completely blew me off. I also might be over analyzing things a bit. I guess time will tell.
