Too much traffic
My site has been up less than a month and it may already have to come down. Allow me to explain. Apparently a few of my more loyal readers have taken it upon themselves to help promote my site. I'm now featured on several different sites I never heard of and apparently one reader has even taken my logo and put it on porn and than posted it all over the net.
As a result I'm now getting a few thousand visitors more than I can handle a day. If my internet traffic continues to grow at its current rate I will have over 400,000 visitors... in the month of march. The amount I'll have to pay for bandwidth to keep the site open will quickly start costing me more than rent, and I'm broke as it is.
I'm told I have several options:
1. Take the site down.
This would stop charging me the regular monthly cost of having the site up. Unfortunately it would also force me to actually try to approach women in bars wearing my members only jacket without any money to buy them drinks, or even a drink for myself.
2. Start charging money to view my site.
This would cut down on the people who see my site so I don't have to pay a grand a month in bandwidth and the dollar a month or so I'd charge wouldn't help me out but would help me keep this site up.
3. Have people start giving money to keep the site up.
O.K. not to be a whiny bitch on top of all my lesser qualities, but I want to keep this site up. Out of the hundreds of emails (I haven't even gotten a chance to read them all yet, let alone respond, please be patient) a lot of you have thanked me for sharing my story and feel like I'm leading some cause for women to give ugly guys a chance.
I'd like to do a lot more with my site. I'd like to start putting up the charity cases (of which I have dozens of requests, even a few ladies), I'd like to do a sociological experiment to see if any guy, even a pudgy troll can get a super model if he's in a posh night club seemingly throwing around cash and driving a Lamborghini (rented of course). There's a lot of things I'd like to do but I may not get a chance to do any if I don't get the funds to keep the site open.
I NEED YOUR HELP! Without contributions my site will go down. My struggle will go unheard, as well as all those I wish to help, inspire, or just say, "Yo rat face, you're not alone."
